KTM 250 XC-W 2026
The KTM 250 XC-W offers enduro riders the perfect combination of power and handling, setting the standard in the tough E1 class. With its groundbreaking frame, updated closed-cartridge suspension and impressive TBI technology, it remains an extreme machine that continues to reach new heights.
*Note: This is a competition model without street-legal homologation.
ADJUSTABILITY
The KTM EXC range offers tool-free suspension adjustment at both the front and rear. At the rear you’ll find our legendary, race-winning PDS technology with hand-adjustable dual compression controls, allowing you to fine-tune high and low-speed settings in seconds. Up front, the fork is just as easy to adjust, with hand-adjustable clickers both at the bottom of the fork leg and at the top of the fork – so you can change settings as quickly as you twist the throttle.

ENGINE
The 250cc two-stroke has long been the optimal combination of raw power and light weight. Weighing in at just 24.8kg, this engine has been engineered to deliver more torque than any previous 250cc two-stroke – without losing the characteristic response and ride feel that characterises the class.
The KTM 250 XC-W sets the standard in the competitive Enduro E1 class.

THROTTLE BODY INJECTION
KTM’s two-stroke Enduro models are equipped with electronically controlled Throttle Body Injection – or TBI. The ECU, in conjunction with a Keihin 39mm injection unit, calculates the ideal air-fuel mixture by continuously analyzing water temperature, air temperature, air pressure, crankcase pressure, RPM and throttle position. The result is smooth and consistent power delivery – even in the most demanding enduro conditions.
All models have a protective cap over the CPC fuel connector. This not only prevents dirt from entering from the sides and prevents accidental opening, but also provides additional protection against twigs and stones that could hit the connector. The small fuel filter in the fuel line is still in place and easily accessible. .

EXHAUST
Thanks to the KTM 125 XC-W's compact engine, the exhaust pipe is designed with the aim of providing better ground clearance and reducing the risk of damage when riding over deep roots, ruts or climbing steep rock sections. The silencer is made of lightweight aluminium, which contributes to low weight and optimal performance.

ERGONOMICS
The KTM Enduro series features an ergonomic rider triangle that provides improved knee contact – especially when standing on the footpegs – as well as better grip surfaces all over the bike. The plastic parts are designed to prevent mud build-up in wet and muddy conditions, while the flat seat profile with high-friction seat cover provides optimal freedom of movement and control.
The polyamide-reinforced aluminum subframe provides exceptional feedback and feel from the ground – so all you need to focus on is the terrain ahead.

FRAME
The KTM Enduro range is specifically designed with a focus on longitudinal rigidity, and is built around a glossy orange powder-coated frame that provides premium rider feedback, efficient energy absorption and high-speed stability. This is achieved by repositioning the rotating masses in the frame, combined with a forged steering head connection.
The footrest mounts have a slim design that reduces the risk of getting caught on obstacles. And when the ride is over, a one-piece forged side stand ensures your enduro machine stands steady and proud.

CUSHIONING
The proven 48mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge fork has been upgraded with shorter, lighter main springs with a polished finish. This improves durability and reduces weight by a whopping 200 grams. The result is a fork that delivers unmatched performance – whatever your level or riding style.
At the rear, a lightweight WP XPLOR PDS rear shock features updated settings that provide better pressure balance and smoother damping. With easy compression and rebound adjustments via convenient hand adjusters, you can fine-tune the shock while you ride – and get a setup that can handle anything you throw at it on the trail.

STABILITY
The KTM Enduro series remains stable at all speeds, thanks to a new positioning and forged connection at the steering head, combined with CNC-machined steering crowns. These are made of high-quality aluminum and feature optimal stiffness in the steering stem, perfect alignment of the fork tubes and precise geometry in the fork tips.
The result is a fork that responds quickly and moves smoothly – with stability you can rely on, even when the pace is high and the stages are flat and fast.
